Over five massive weekends last month, Marquee Sydney shifted into full party mode as some of Australia’s hottest talents and international superstars took to the decks. It was such a jam-packed month that we had to call it our ‘Month of Mayhem’. From Mexican-themed parties to EDM legends on stage, May was definitely a month to remember.

Now let’s take a look back at some of the highlights of our Month of Mayhem.

We kick started off with the 2nd annual Cinco de Mayo pre-party in the BoomBox Room. Sponsored by Herradura Tequila. The club was transformed into one big Mexican fiesta with the Hispanic-style sounds from Sydney’s hottest Latino DJ’s Don Juan & Dante Rivera.

It was then time to welcome back Ministry of Sound DJ and ARIA chart-topper Chardy to the decks. Having performed across clubs around the country and gaining support from the likes of Pete Tong, Chardy definitely delivered.

Having spun in Dubai, Holland and Ibiza we thought it was time for the unstoppable duo Prok N Fitch to make their debut at Marquee Sydney. Straight from the UK, these two founders of Floorplay Music definitely set the roof on fire.

Then, after their outstanding debut performance last year Dutch duo sensation Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano returned for another night of mayhem. We can’t wait to have them back behind the decks.

With so many male DJ’s headlining, it was time to bring back the girl power to the Marquee Sydney dancefloor. And with the help of former resident DJ of The Playboy Club in Macau DJ Bliss, the night was a complete success.

But the highlight of our wild Month of Mayhem was the return of international sensation Dirty South. The 2 x Grammy-nominated DJ/Producer was welcomed back with open arms and a full house as he performed one amazing set.

But our Month of Mayhem would not have been a hit if it weren’t for our all-time favourites – K-Note, Tenzin, Zannon and Grant Smillie.
