Last September, Marquee Sydney was home to some of the biggest names in the music industry – Miss Nine, EDX, and Ivan Gough – just to name a few. The month was jam-packed; from the launch of Redfoo‘s spring residency to being crowned ‘Best Nightclub of the Year‘ for the second year in a row. We ended the month off with a bang and prepared ourselves for October – another month of madness!

October kicked off with an astounding long weekend of celebrations. International RnB superstar Jason Derulo won the hearts of every girl in the nightclub, as he performed his chart-topping hits Watcha Say and In My Head as well as tracks from his third album Tattoos.

Then, straight from TomorrowWorld USA to Marquee Sydney we welcomed an all time favourite – tyDi – to the decks. The room was filled with confetti storms, hard-hitting house beats and crazy party animals.

And to finish off what was an epic long weekend – enter Sander Van Doorn – a prodigy in the EDM community. As he returned to the Marquee stage, SVD smashed the turntables with his electrifying presence.

The week after we said goodbye to Redfoo as he performed his third and final show. The party rocker and his La Freak Crew smashed the Main Room with his infamous champagne showers, blow-up animals and crazy glowsticks.

To think, we are only two weeks into October!

This weekend catch the Cataracs (Friday, 18 October) and Stafford Brothers (Saturday, 19 October), as they launch the official Sushi Radio and Stereosonic pre-party festivities. Then we have DJ G-Wizard (Friday, 25 October) and Havana Brown (Saturday, 26 October) finishing off yet another month of madness!
