“EDM is a culture, style and art all together”
– Shogun

Hot off the heels on his Asia/Australia tour 2013/14, American DJ and Producer Andrew Chen aka Shogun will be taking over the decks of Marquee Sydney tonight, for a performance you don’t want to miss.

After only a few short years in the music industry, this American-born Taiwanese artist has gained support from the likes of EDM legends such as Paul Van Dyke, Gareth Emery, Ferry Corsten and trance DJ phenomenon Armin Van Buuren. In 2011, Shogun was ranked #122 by DJ Mag and soon after became the newest breakthrough artist to hit the Top 100 DJs list, being voted in at number #68 in 2012.

However, before he started producing his own tracks and remixing for world-class DJs, Shogun was smashing the decks at the prominent Ministry of Sound nightclub in Taipei, where he served his residency for over 3 years. His sets were described by many as “an emotional and amazing journey” and was broadcasted live worldwide for thousands of listeners on the Ministry of Sound Radio.

Having performed at prestigious nightclubs from Ibiza to Singapore, Shogun has also turned tables at international festivals such as the Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Ultra Music Festival in Buenos Aires, and A State of Trance Los Angeles.

Shogun is undoubtedly a rising trance star that has captured the hearts of millions. And with his debut at Marquee Sydney tonight, here are a few of his anthems that will get you ready for the weekend.

So if you feel like partying it up with Shogun tonight, tickets are still available for purchase at moshtix.com. See you then!
